Friendly answers to the most common questions about our made-to-order process, delivery and returns.

Orders

Are items in stock or made to order?
Most items are made to order. We cut/engrave specifically for you, which is why standard returns aren’t possible on custom items. We’ll always do our best to help if something isn’t right.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If production hasn’t started, we can usually help. Once cutting/engraving begins, changes may incur a fee and cancellations may not be possible for custom items. Please email info@laserbloom.co.za as soon as possible with your order number.
Do you offer rush orders?
Sometimes, yes. Rush availability depends on design complexity and our queue. Tell us your deadline at checkout or email us—if we can help, we’ll confirm a rush fee and timeline before proceeding.

Production

How long does production take?
Our standard production lead time is 4–6 business days. Complex or large orders may take a little longer—we’ll let you know if anything affects your timeline. Lead time excludes weekends and public holidays.
What materials do you use?
We work primarily with acrylic and MDF (plus selected signage materials). Blanks and holders are cut on demand, which is why they’re treated as custom items in our policies.

Shipping & Delivery

What are your delivery options and rates?
  • Standard door-to-door: R129
  • PUDO locker → locker: R89 (size limits apply)
  • PostNet → PostNet: R119
Remote/oversize areas may attract a small surcharge (we’ll confirm before dispatch).
How long does delivery take?
Transit after dispatch is typically 1–4 business days (1–2 to major centres; up to 4 for regional/remote). Remember: production time (4–6 business days) is separate from courier transit.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes—choose Collection at checkout. We’ll email you when your order is ready for collection in Irene – Centurion and share directions and pickup times.
My parcel arrived damaged—what should I do?
Email info@laserbloom.co.za within 48 hours with clear photos of the product and packaging, plus your order number. Courier incidents are outside our control, but we aim to be fair—at our discretion we may offer a partial refund, replacement, or store credit as goodwill. See our Refund & Return Policy.
PUDO & PostNet tips
  • PUDO: choose a locker size that fits your parcel and collect promptly to avoid returns/re-shipping fees.
  • PostNet: use the correct recipient name & chosen branch. ID or matching details are required for collection.

Returns, Refunds & Credit Notes

Do you accept returns?
Returns are limited because most orders are custom-made. Selected non-custom stock items may be returned—see our Refund & Return Policy for eligibility and steps.
How do credit notes work?
We may issue a credit note instead of a refund. Credit notes are valid for 6 months, must be redeemed in one transaction, and cannot be used for custom-made products or during sales/promotions.
Handling fees for blanks
Acrylic & MDF blanks (including acrylic sign/graphic holders) are cut on demand and classified as custom-made. An exchange handling fee of 50% may apply—see our Refund & Return Policy.

Custom Work

Can you create custom designs or personalise items?
Absolutely. Share your idea, logo, or reference. We’ll confirm feasibility, pricing and lead time. For best results, supply vector artwork (SVG/AI/PDF) or high-resolution files.
Can I see a proof before production?
For custom projects we can provide a digital proof on request. Once you approve the proof, production begins and changes may incur fees.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online card payments and EFT. For EFT, please email proof of payment to info@laserbloom.co.za with your order number to avoid delays.
Banking details for EFT
For security, banking details are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. If you need them again, email us and we’ll resend. Please include your order number as payment reference.
